Saying the Rosary

Fr. Rob came to visit us again recently, and he gave each of us beautiful rosary beads. We are learning how to say the rosary and we try to say a decade a day if we can. We are really good at praying for everyone and are getting very good at saying the rosary. Thank you Fr. rob for the beautiful rosary beads.

Looking at the Easter garden

After chatting about the stories from the rosary, we decided to pay a visit to Renmore church to see the Easter garden.  We loved seeing the empty tomb and Jesus in the garden.  We also took a look at this year's Paschal candle, and at the stain glass window showing John the Baptist baptising Jesus in the River Jordan.

St. Francis visits our homes

We have a teddy of Saint Francis in our class and each day a different person gets to bring him home. The next day, they bring him back and tell the class all the exciting things they did with him. Saint Francis is having a great time and last weekend he even got to go to Westport for the weekend with Luca!!

St. Brigid brings the Spring

The Feast Day of Saint Brigid was on the first of February. It was also the first day of Spring. We made Saint Brigid's crosses using coloured paper and they turned out great. We also heard the story about St. Brigid and her cloak and how she managed to gain the land to build a church. We learned a lovely song called 'Saint Brigid brings the Spring'.
